Hello, I am the new Media Assistant this year at Byrns Darden Elementary School, Ms. Maria! I was an Educational Assistant last year helping in 5th, 2nd and 1st Grade classes but I'm excited to be able to interact with every student when they visit the library! I was a bookworm growing up and I hope the guide our students into finding something that they enjoy about the library, even if its not quite yet chapter books. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish. In my free time I enjoy to read, bake and go rock hounding with my partner on the weekends.
