- * Due to Covid19 we are requesting students keep their library books at school as much as possible. If we go remote it will cut down on the amount of books that might get lost. Thank you for your understanding.
- * Library lessons will be done in the classroom school year 20-21.
- * There will be limited library check out. No more than 2 students can be in the library at a time. Students will be required to wear a mask, hand sanitize and check in for each visit.
- Parents and Guardians: please help your student take care of their library book. Books should be stored in their backpack and should come to school everyday. Please don't allow students to eat while reading their library books. CMCSS policy requires parents or guardians to pay for lost or damaged library books. Thank you for your help!
- READ EVERY DAY!!!
- *(TBD school year 20-21) District Wide Battle of the Books! Each year the elementary schools (who participate) encourage 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to read a selection of chapter books picked by the VSBA (Volunteer State Book Award) Committee. In May, 6 chosen students (who read the selected books) are invited to participate in a reading quiz bowl. See Ms. Norbeck for more details!
