Hi friends! My name is SJ Benton, or Mrs. B! I started teaching in 2020 and spent my first four years in a middle school classroom. I am so excited to now be in elementary! I grew up in FL and moved to TN for college. I graduated from APSU. I became a mom in 2023 and am loving every moment of it!! My goal is to make my classroom like a family. My students are encouraged to be unapologetically themselves and accept others, at all times. It is a safe space to make mistakes, have big feelings, and learn at your own pace. I am so proud to be a Byrns Darden Dolphin!!
