My classroom expectations are centered on respect: 

Make good choices- Make good choices on who you sit by and your actions in the classroom.

Use your manners- Raise your hand if you have something to say and sit in your spot quietly to show me that you are ready.

Show respect- Respect everyone(kind words), focus on the person talking, and do not talk to your neighbor unless you are supposed to be.

Involve yourself- Make sure you are participating in class.

Care for the instruments- We want to take care of our instruments as well as we can. We don't want them to break.

If these rules are broken, I have a three warning system. 

1st time: The student will get their name on the board.

2nd time: The student will get a check mark, go to the calm down corner for a few minutes, and I will talk to the teacher about their behavior.

3rd time: The student will get another check mark, go back to the calm down corner, will get a write up, and I will be calling home.
