In Developmental PreK, students will focus on the skills needed to be read for school and a learning formal environment.  We will begin learning to recognize and write our names, all letter names and sounds, (Monroe County Phonics on you tube is a great resource to help learn letter sounds with a muscle memory), name recognition, writing, prereading skills. In Math, we will practice number recognition, rout counting and 1:1 counting, writing the numbers, with specific numbers highighted for our weekly focus. Students will also practice writing their names on a regular basis.
