Hello! I am Krissi Merritt, and I am so happy to be at Byrns Darden this year! I graduated from University of Phoenix in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for seven years. I taught second grade for 2 years, and I taught first grade for 4 years. I am so excited now to be teaching kindergarten this year. My teaching philosophy is that every student can learn and succeed. If the love of learning is developed early (in kindergarten), there is no limit to what they can become! That is my job, and I take it very seriously. I can not wait to see what the future holds for your child.
